Black and white frontispiece. Tiny piece missing from top corner of "Synopsis" page. Light scattered foxing to fore and top edges and inside edges of covers. 200 pages The story of the Elphington family and their life in the Mallee country of Victoria during the 19th century. Whilst fictional it is a very good representation of life at that time in that place. . 1st Edition. Hardback.
