Illustrated with 50 photographs and diagrems, and containing many informative tables, formulas, and testing instructions. Bookstore label for Best's Studio on Yosemite Valley; founded in 1902 by Harry & Anne Best, Ansel Adams married their daughter Virginai and worked with the studio for many years. Grey cloth with black lettering in photo-illustrated dustjacket. Near fine (light foxing to uipper page edges; offsetting from dustjacket flaps) in very good dustjacket (foxing and spotting to spine, less so to covers; light wear to extremities). This book was most likely inscribed by Adams to a student in his summer workshop at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Book 3 in a series of 6 by Adams in the new Morgan & Morgan Basic Photo Series. In this title, Adams focuses on the basic technique of printing and enlarging, toning, mounting, and related subjects.
