About This Item

Inverness: Club Leabhar Ltd.. Good with no dust jacket. 1971. First Paperback Edition. Paperback. 0902706071 . A good 147 page pale buey card-covered book. Some rubbing to the front cover and spine resulting in some loss of black print, mainly to the spine, but all hinges tight. With a particulary fulsome and decorative gift dedication in ink inside the front cover, otherwise unmarked inside. Internally excellent. A survey of 20 minority languages, including Albanian, Czech, Faroese, Estonian Hebrew, Slovenian, etc, etc, but strangely omitting any of the Celtic languages, although the preface concentrates on the current Celtic language situation and states that "...the articles are designed to give a general introduction to the Nations from which the Celts and any other people undertaking the task of cultural and linguistic revival would do well to learn from..." . See Images. ; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall .
