Chicago: Department of Rehabilitation, Disabled American Veterans of the World War, 1930. Decorated leatherette. Each volume has a moderate amount of shelf wear and rubbing at the extremities. The bindings are all tight and square. Previous owner name written on the endpapers of some volumes. Volume I contains dedication pages, which are loose and laid in at the title page. National Patron of Honor Edition registered in the name of the book's original owner (J.G. Bischoff, same name written on front endpapers). Contains what appears to be the printed signature of the National Commander of the Disabled American Veterans of the World War. Volumes I through VIII were published in 1930. Volumes IX and X were published in 1931. Illustrated with drawings, photographs and maps, some of which are fold-out maps. Each volume contains a Bibliography for material covered in that volume. No Index. Each volume measures 6 by 9 inches and the set occupies 15 inches of shelf space. A heavy set that will require extra postage for Priority shipping.. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket.
