Chicago, Illinois: The Progressive Woman, 1911. First Edition. Original Wraps. Fair. This scarce publication begun in 1907 in Chicago and later moved to Girard, Kansas. In fair condition over all because of the damage to the upper fore-corner - the last four leaves (8 pages) resulting in significant paper loss with text (about 1/4 of those pages). This issue would not be offered for sale except for its scarcity. Otherwise in good condition, interior good, but cover soiled, damp stained and chipping at the top edge, interior fore-edge margin soiled at several pages the last paragraph of 'The Recruit' missing in damage but the other articles mentioned are complete. Issue also contains many period socialist propaganda points listed in classified for various leaflets.
