New York: The Macmillan Company, 1914. Richard T.Ely( 1854-1943) was one of the most influential economists of his time. He founded the American Economic Association and was the author of a series of widely read books on the organized labor movement, socialism, and other social questions. These 2 volumes are from the library of Frank Robotka (1889-1975), with his signature title page vol. 1. Robotka was Professor of Agricultural Economics at Iowa State University. Both volumes are Near Fine, the very slightest of edgewear to the boards. In deep blue cloth with gilt titles, a handsome set. . First Edition. Cloth. Near Fine/No Jacket.
