If we miss any defects are highlights on any book, our policy is to make immediate amends to any customer): The outside is in a little rough condition with a splitting to the side board at the hinge that appear to have been repaired with glue. There is a chip to the corner front bottom edge. There is some scuffing to the board edges. There is some writing from 1854 in pen on the front endpaper. Some wrinkling to the front endpaper. There is some age like dry staining through the first twenty pages or so. Light foxing, browning, and staining throughout the book. The back inside board appear to have a couple of smoke imprints at the very edge. Book is fairly tight and sturdy. SIZE: 6 ½ x 10 ½ (approximately) PAGES: 600 pages BACKGROUND/DESCRIPTION: Reprint Edition Assumed. Leavitt, Throw and Co., NY 1848. Fair(minus)/None dust jacket condition as issued. The board is repaired and has a split look.
