An interesting if controversial dictionary of church subjects. plus a description of what is called the English Inquisition. Brown cloth binding with gilt decorations and titles on front cover and spine. Some spotting and scuffing of cover with lihgt scratches, gilt bright, edges a bit worn, corners and spine ends bumped, former owner's names "A. B. Hognes?" and "Bruce Williams 1915" on front fixed end paper, end papers discolored and small tears at hinge show webbing, minor pencil marks in text, small addendum slip fixed to page 109, interior pages lightly tanned, binding tight.
