Book measures 7 1/4 x 4 3/4 inches. 444 pages. Bound in full period crushed leather, raised bands, oranate gilt tooling, ruled lines on boards, full gilt edges, inner dentelles, coloured endpapers. Leather lightly rubbed, slightly faded, hinge joints rubbed, but boards attached. Generally a very nice binding. Internally, tanning to pages, heavier to margins, chipped on edge of title page. A nice copy, in a very attractive Riviere binding. . 8vo.
