Original publishers vellum, title, author and illustrator in gilt to spine, upper cover with gilt single rule border and central roundel within which is a vase of flowers, t.e.g. Vellum very slightly soiled and crinkled, but generally fairly bright and clean. Internally very slightly browned, mainly to edges, otherwise quite bright. With twenty-two tissue-guarded illustrations by Thomson (as called for). First Edition. Hardback.
