Smith Elder and Co. , 1869 . Hardback. . 8vo green cloth with bevelled edges and brown endpapers. Gilt title to spine and black lining to boards. (Wise 143). The picture on the listing page is of the actual book for sale. Good only hardback. Lightly edgeworn and fraying to head and tail of spine. Hinges have been repaired at some stage with brown cloth (which matches endpapers). Remains of sticker on verso of front free endpaper and neat ownership sig. Pages are age-toned and foxing to outer pages as well as very occasionally throughout. Light occasional pencil underlining.
