Ca. 1889.. 17 chromolithographic plates, two-toned lithographic illustrations, unpaginated, 9 1/2 x 7 1/2 inches, color pictorial paper covered boards with cloth spine. Soiling to covers, hinges broken but still attached, several loose pages, previous owner's name to front endpaper, some scattered foxing; plates in very good, bright condition with occasional smudges to outer edges. Beautiful illustrations by Harriett M. Bennett of young children and babies with flowers, kittens, birds, and dogs. Lithographed and printed by Ernest Nister of Nuremberg. .
