Limited Edition "This edition is limited to seven hundred and fifty copies". Size quarto, 58 pages including notes, author's notes, changies in text and variant readings, list of starters and placing for the race, bibliographical notes. Crimson red cloth covered boards with gilt titles to the spine. Condition very good, corners and spine ends slightly rubbed, spine slightly faded, spotting to end-papers, a little very faint spotting to some pages but contents generally clean. The plates are printed on glossy paper and are very clean and bright. With 8 colour plates including frontispiece, all drawn by Lesley Blanch.
