Publisher's green cloth with gilt spine lettering and an upper board flower decoration gilt, octavo, pp. [4], vi - [viii], 1-35, plus colophon. Tipped in are a color portrait frontis of Rachel McMasters Miller Hunt and two botanical illustrations, all by the Meriden Gravure Company. Includes a fold-out floor plan of the Hunt Library, several other black and white photos of books in the collection, and a color pressmark for the Laboratory Press. Stapled onto the final blank endpaper are (1) a card stating that copies of this book were presented to those in attendance at the library's October 10, 1961, dedication ceremony and then identifying this copy as among those sent to invitees who could not be present at the dedication; and (2) a slip of paper with the name and professional address of Frank N. Egerton, the recipient of this particular copy. A separate previous owner's 1967 name and city notation on front paste down. About Very Good condition with just light shelf rubs to spine ends and board tips.
