Small quarto: black cloth in dust jacket; 294 pages. First Edition. The history of one of New Zealand's earliest jockey clubs and race meetings at the Thames. Signed by Williams on a special bookplate tipped to the title page. Also with a signed presentation from Janice and Bob Farley on the half-title page: "To Uncle Jack & Auntie Kay, Love Jan & Bob." The Farleys were horse trainers that are mentioned in the book and they have added a number of ink notations throughout the text that refer to their horse-training experiences in New Zealand. Near fine (little bump base of spine; contents clean & tight); minor wear d/j. $85.00.
