Page edges and a few pages at the back spotted otherwise a Near very good copy in a fair to good protected dustjacket with chips creases and edge tears and some wear at the back.

Illustrated dust jacket over paper covered boards.Black and white illustrations throughout. Prize plate to front pastedown. Minor foxing and tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Light cracking to gutters but binding remains firm. Mild staining to hinges. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild tanning and scuffing overall. Prominent split to front joint exposing netting. Spine has similar tanning with soft crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Unclipped dust jacket with moderate rubbing, chipping and tearing to edges. Moderate tanning and scuffing overall with visible loss and creasing to panels.

GB: OUP Oxford University Press Humphrey Milford, 1925. Not dated but about 1925. Small hardback with colour pictorial cover (by Ellis Silas) , yellow cloth spine and plain yellow rear cover. DW repeats cover artwork and has a list of The Boy's and Girl's Library on rear cover. Spine is red with two blue and white birds. Book is in nearly fine condition with only slightest signs of wear and/or age. But text slightly bronwing. DW has some edge wear with minor loss and some minor internal magic tape repair. . . Hardback. VG+/VG DW.
