Modern railroading as developed just before and since World War II. The main focus of the book is fast freight.

The dust jacket is NOT price clipped with some little wear at tips and worn areas on covers and some dampstaining around rear cover bottom and spine.. Now looks shiny and new in it's archival mylar cover..
