Ipswich, printed by W. S. Cowell, circa 1955 and 1957.. Two volumes, oblong 4to, 210 x 285 mm, 8½ x 11¼ inches, bound in maroon cloth embossed to resemble crocodile skin, gilt Raleigh logo and "Raleigh Industries Limited, Nottingham" in gilt on upper cover, both have 12 pages of introduction with large colour photo of the Nottingham plant, black and white photos of the workshops and engineering features of the bikes. 1955: 35 full page coloured photos of Raleigh models including a tricycle and delivery bike each facing full specifications; 1957: 40 models of Rudge bicycles, acquired by Raleigh in 1943; 37 Humber models, Humber acquired by Raleigh in 1932; 29 Triumph models, Triumph cycles acquired by Raleigh in 1954, all face a sheet of specifications. 1955: couple of light spots to covers, 1 board corner slightly worn, a couple of closed tears to margins, title page inner margin slightly dusty and spotted, 1 transparent printed overlay detached and lightly soiled along lower edge, no loss; 1957: slight spotting to upper cover next to spine, remains of old paper label on spine, contents very nice.
