Chicago: Albert Whitman & Co, 1945. Hardcover. 48p. illustrations, two of wihch are full page color. first edition, very good. Some browning to endpapers. Price clipped dust jacket shows wear, rubbing and loss along spine including about a 3/4 inch hole near the top. Series price is agressively inked over at top rear flap. Both front and rear panels show closed tears of about two inches in length, now nicely closed up in dust jacket protector. "Easy Science Books" "An easy science reader by the WPA Pennsylvania Writers' Project. One of about 40 or so books in the series, this 1945 title relatively uncommon in dust jacket.
