Front and back covers show a lot of wear with discoloration, a couple of bent corners, slight rubbing along the edges, and minor fading along the spine; Inside front cover has previous owner's name and date in ink; Front free-endpaper has a small 1-1/8" x 3/8" old book store sticker on bottom left corner; Illustration across from title page is no longer attached to the binding; Pages have some discoloration due to age and some additional smudges in the margins of a couple of pages, no writing is affected; Binding is loose but intact except for aforementioned page.
