Original grey printed wrappers, with a lower right corner crease and deckle (untrimmed) edges. Paper lightly browned throughout as normal. A sound reading copy. Wraps. A reprint of the first French edition published in 1807. This work began "a new epoch in mathematics, being a fundamental book in the modern theory of numbers" (PMM 257 referring to the 1801 edition).
