Garden City, New York: Doubleday & Co., Inc., 1950. First edition, first printing. Adventure and romance set in Scotland, New York and America in the days before the French and Indian Wars. Red cloth, 306 pages, illustrated dustjacket. Minimal edgewear, small pinhole to front joint near the bottom, good hinges, sound text block, some foxing to outer edges, a bit of age-toning to endpapers, pages otherwise clean and free from names or other markings, slightly musty odor. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped and has some foxing to the light colored rear panel, rubbing to the corners and spine ends, two tiny brown spots on the front panel.. First Edition, First Printing. Hard Cover. Very Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
