Toronto: Copp Clark Company, Limited, 1917 Book. Good to Very Good. Hardcover. Reprint. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Grey paper boards backed in black cloth. No writing. Very faint waterstain throughout, not affecting readability. Van Dyke was a noted minister and author who was appointed by President Hoover as Minister to the Netherlands and Luxembourg in 1913. In this capacity he assisted Americans all over Europe who flocked to Holland to escape the war. He is the author of "The Other Wise Man", a popular Christmas story, and the poem, "Time Is," which was read at the funeral for Princess Diana. Among his notable friends was Helen Keller. 52 pp..
