Publisher's advertisements on the pastedowns. Original blindstamped publisher's cloth with gold lettering on the spine. Illustrated by Alfred Croquis, Esq. With a fold-out frontispiece, an engraved title page, and with 19 plates. New edition, revised and largely augmented. The textblock is shaken from its case but the binding is holding, front hinge with a tape repair. With the armorial bookplate of James Behan Murtagh and a bookseller's stamp on the title page.
