1915 FIRST EDITION h/b 215 pages Tight binding apart from loosening first section 32 pages, still firmly attached by the remaining good stitching but gutter cracks both ends, another light gutter crack near rear. Content mainly cleanish but with some foxing incl occasional heavy blotches and a few other light marks and creases, prelims more heavily foxed, 2 penned name-inscriptions on feps, gilt spine-&-face titles on sl stained & worn covers with some cloth bubbling, heavily rubbed through at corners & sl split at spine extremities -- a substantially complete copy in better than fair order with wear-faults not as bad as they sound & quite commensurate with age for such a SCARCE book.
