The Bonds and Valuations for 1798 detail almost every dwelling and business in Boston, with the owners and occupiers named. For most properties the lot and house size is also given, as is the type of construction, the number of windows, and the 1798 valuation. It's value to genealogists, architects, and property historians is enormous. It is a valuable and too little known resource. New England 5/6 / YORK HS. Hardcover.
