Hardcover, black cloth boards with gilt text on spine. Exterior shows some scuffing and soiling along with edge and corner bumps/wear. Cloth on spine is wrinkled the boards have some dents present. The interior binding has some issues but appears complete. There is a thin hinge crack starting at the title page, a large tipped-in map at page 150 is present but detached, and the hinge at the rear board where the map pocket is is wide open. All of the foldout maps, including a very large one in the rear pocket, appear to be present.. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings, no handwriting noted.
