Handsomely printed on Beckett paper. According to CLARK & BRUNET, the Hafens had done prior work with the Arthur H. Clark Company, but their relationship was "fully established with the 15-volume Far West and Rockies Series." A work of enduring quality and scholarship, this volume mined significant primary source material to thoroughly contextualize the correspondence from Thomas Wildman, Mary B.
