Poetry collection by a "graduate, Suma Cum Laude, of the 'school of hard knocks.'" The contents of the first half of this collection, titled "The Ring," deal exclusively with boxing. Poems from the "Potpourri" section include the pieces "John F. Kennedy," "Birth Control," "Black Men of the G.A.R.," "The Racist," "To a Lady M.D." and many others.
