About This Item
New York: Simon & Schuster, 1997. First Edition, First Printing. . Hardcover. About Very Good/Very Good. Hautman's fifth book is a crime-thriller featuring ex-cop turned loser-gambler, Joe Crow, who's handed the job of checking on the former coke dealer, Hyatt Hilton, who's about to marry Carmen Roman, the almost-daughter of a friend of Crow's. The names should be a clue that if you like Elmore and Hiaasen, you'll Hautman too; tiny dent on bottom corner of text, lower corner of front cover slightly bumped, o/w boards and text are clean, tight, square; the dustjacket shows some wear at edges and corners. A good read.
