Racine, Wisconsin: Whitman Publishing Company, [1952].. Octavo, illustrations by E. Deane Cate, original pictorial blue boards stamped in white and black, all edges stained red, pictorial endpapers. First edition. Whitman 2304, reprinted in 1958 as ASSIGNMENT IN SPACE WITH RIP FOSTER. A fine copy in very good dust jacket with several nicks and closed tears and wear at upper spine end. A nice example of the uncommon jacket. (#136527)
