Published by Charles Scribner's Sons. First American Edition, 1988. The dust jacket is clean and bright with shelf wear at its edges and minor chipping at its corners, and also a small tear at the back. The blue cover is clean and largely unworn. The boards are flat and stiff with square corners and slight wear at their lower edges. The gilt lettering on the backstrip is pristine. The text block has minor bumping to its base edge, but the individual pages are largely unaffected. The pages are clean and crisp with no markings, rips, or major creases. The binding is tight with no loose pages. ISBN 0684185369. Packaged using bubble wrap and a sturdy cardboard box. Tracking number provided for no extra cost.
