Description:
New York: ASAP, 2018. First Edition. Hardcover. Fine. A Joe Pickett short story with six essays by Box. This is one of 26 Collector's editions, bound in ostrich-like leather and housed in a clamshell case with a glass-covered display of three lures of the type Box likes to use when fly fishing. The book is signed by Ken Bruen, who contributes an appreciation; T. Jefferson Parker, author of the introduction; Ace Atkins, who wrote the afterword; the illustrator, Phil Parks, and Box himself. Bruen signed at the end of his contribution; the others signed on a tipped-in limitation sheet. This certainly ranks as one of the most elaborate mystery limited editions. First edition (first printing). A fine copy in a fine clamshell box. This is copy "G" of the 26 lettered copies. "Joe Pickett" business card laid in. A small piece of tape holds the glass.
