London: Angus & Robertson, 1975. (vii), + 251pp. Book clean and square. Spine firm, nominally bumped. Plain grey boards minimally bumped on foredge corners, else front board mildly pressure marked. Textblock unmarked. Illustrated (colour-art front, and duotone photographic author portrait rear) dustjacket slightly edgeworn, and pressure marked on front panel. The manuscript for this book was found in its original form by Dr. Stuart MacDonald (the author's son) among her personal papers and other effects after her death in 1942. Broken into 14 short stories, again set on the 'Island' (Canada's Prince Edward Island), in the immediate pre-World War Two period, with Anne now Mrs Blythe, married with grown-up children. Contents include: Prelims., Publisher's Foreword, 14 stories. Book weight approx. 460g. . First U.K. Edition. Hardcover and Dustjacket. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
