As issued, in full cloth with elaborate decoration stamped in gold on the front cover; top edge gilt. Binding is generally tanned, particularly at the spine and perimeter of the rear cover; spine ends and corners are a trifle frayed; previous owner bookplate and names on the front endpaper, otherwise free of writing; pages are a trifled toned at the edges.
