Minor edge and corner wear, lightly scuffed and scratched, corners are gently bumped and rubbed, some light shelf wear, overall a very crisp and clean used first promotional edition! Very very rare and hard-to-find copy! This is a one-of-a-kind promotional book! Chapters are condensed, but still contains the full amount of photographs and illustrations. Wonderfully well-preserved! Blue cloth with black lettering on the front and rear boards. In the rear of the book are empty pages containing places for names, addresses, and prices. Also stated in the rear of the text is: "Agreement: We, the subscribers on the following pages to the above-named book, hereby agree to take the number of copies set opposite our respective names, and promptly pay the specified price on delivery of the same." Also: "This prospectus represents the sample pages, illustrations, and binding of the complete work. It also represents the quality of paper and printing. The complete book measures 6 x 8 3/8 inches, and comprises over 300 pages, lavishly illustrated with over 30 photographs. Attractively and durably bound in rich cloth, with ink stamping.". First Edition / First Printing. Blue Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Hardcover.
