Gorgeous quarter leather binding over textured green paper with gilt accents. Top edge painted, offset bottom edge. Some pages unopened. Orginal fine ribbon marker. Slipcase showing mild toning at edges and dark stain on bottom edge. Laid in is the orginal ad for the work. 343 pp. Duodecimo, 4 1/2 x 7 1/2 inches tall. A fine example of a lovely book, made to reflect the era it describes. Text in German.
