New York: Sheldon & Co, 1870. Hardcover. Very Good. 215, [1] p.: frontispiece and 10 additional illustrations, some in-text and others full-page; 17 cm. Original red-orange, pebble-grain cloth with gilt-stamped spine title and cover title, the spine title intricately embellished. Additional black-stamped ornamentation on spine and front cover; back cover has blind-stamped border. Pale yellow endpapers. Engraved series title page. The eighth volume in the series Rollo's Tour in Europe, concerning the adventures of 12-year-old Rollo Holiday as he travelled across the Atlantic to meet his parents in Europe. An attractive and scarce edition of a volume in the Rollo series in the much less common red-orange, pebble-grain cloth. In Very Good Condition: corners slightly rubbed; clean and tight.
