Quarter maroon leather with salmon-colored cloth on boards, gilt-stamped spine, top edge gilt, 318 pp. No date on title page, illustrations copyright 1946. Tail of spine chipped away (about an eigth of an inch missing), otherwise very good with spine sunned, bottom corner of front board bumped and edges rubbed. Nicely printed on attractive paper--much nicer than a new paperback at about the same price. Shipping weight 2 lbs. (Internatioanal 1 lb., 12 oz.). . Illus. by André Dugo. 21 X 14½ cm.
