Leather is well rubbed, corners are significantly scuffed, wear at spine ends, front cover is detached, rear cover is partially detached and has some loss of leather. Front end-paper is detached, and rear end-paper is almost detached, other wise internal binding is sound. End-papers have areas of darkening, other pages are clean except for occasional light smudges on leading edges, plates are crisp and bright. Early pages have vertical crease. The volume contains 54 plates and there is evidence that two additional plates have been removed. Pages of this volume are 655-1254.
