John Donald Publishing, 1990. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. 126pp. Colour and monochrome illustrations. Cloth-covered boards with gilt titles. Corner of front free endpaper cut away (likely to remove pricing), else neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original dust jacket (gently rubbed on edges). A book about people as well as places, the setting is the old royal playing grounds, from Deeside to the Spey, west to the Drumochter Pass, south to Blair Atholl and Dunkeld and north again to Cairnwell Pass and the hills of Mar. Small 4to.
