Mission Bell Edition, signed colophon page, 1949, 351 pages including index, a few black and white photographs, never read condition, detailed history of th El Camino Real and California history. Book is near Fine, publishers bright red cloth with bright gilt titles and highway bell on front board along with bright gilt title to spine, map end papers show the route with Missions and cities. Faded 1/4inch strip on bottom of spine else Fine, No previous owner bookplate or writing. Jacket is near Fine with original price intact, top edge of jacket shows a bit of fading from sunlight. Shows nicely in a new mylar sleeve. Very clean and most presentable First Edition. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall.
