London, 1818. Original aquatint and stipple engraving drawn and executed by William Hooker. Image measures 17 x 19 cm, leaf measures 33 x 25 cm. Fine condition. Matted and ready for framing. Illustration is from Hooker's own POMONA LONDINENSIS published privately in London in 1818 with 49 stunning coloured engravings. Considered to be the finest fruit illustrations ever published, each is a work of art in its own right.
