The book is bound in the following order: Robert Owen, James Oliver, Stephan Girard, Mayer E Rothschild, Philip D Armour, John J Astor, Peter Cooper, Andrew Carnegie, ["The Roycroft Books A Catlalog" (29 pages with tipped in plates) is inserted here] A T Stewart, H H Rogers, James J Hill -- 8vo, various paginations, original Roycroft binding of 3/4 suede with a red leather gilt label on the spine and pastel marbled boards, marbled endpapers match the outer marbled boards, "The Little Journeys are all designed by Dard Hunter with his printed signature in the bottom corner of the title pages -- Title page of the Robert Owen issue has a closed tear mostly in the margin (enters the text a little) Their are some finger smudges on the verso of the Robert Owen title page Page 5 & 13 of this issue also has a closed tear to the margin just barely entering the text The corner tips are moderately rubbed Else nice condition with the suede not being powdered as is usually the case with these bindings -- Overall very good (possibly better) condition (XBG22-653-BS) Quantity Available: 1 Category: Business & Industry; Pictures of this item not already displayed here available upon request Inventory No: 006371.
