Book Condition: Good; Front wrap detached and chipped; rear wrap attached but chipped edges; light wear to corners; slight age toning; clean interior. No DJ. Pictorial card stock wraps. Wraps are not bent or folded; spine has signatures exposed from missing spine paper; text is securely bound. Deckled edges. 87 pp 8vo. This is a book designed to help the customer understand the many rugs available from the Middle East; the author tells about the manufacture of the rugs and the weaving; their classification into groups-Persian, Turkoman, Caucasian, and Turkish; maps, care instructions, and where to buy and why. Many B&W photos to show the various types of rugs in each group. A clean presentable copy.
