Publisher's prospectus for works by F.C. Weiskopf laid in. Novel of the nationalistic fervor of German youth just a few years before the rise of the Third Reich. The author, himself a communist, later fled Nazi Germany for the Soviet Union only to be a victim of the Great Purge, perishing in the Gulag in 1943.
