Very Good+ in Wraps: shows indications of careful use: light wear to extremities; moderate rubbing to the wrapper covers; small, very faint dampstain at the upper rear corner tip; binding square and secure; text clean. Remains close to 'As New'. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. Oblong 16mo. 32pp. Profusely illustrated in color and black & white. Introduction by Eila Kokkinen. Edited by William S. Lieberman. Paperback: Pictorial Wraps. Series of twenty-three drawings and paintings, stimulated by the artists time from Deep, on the Baltic coast Series of drawings and paintings (23) stimulated by his time from Deep in Pomerania on the Baltic coast in Germany. Feininger was the first person appointed by Walter Gropius to the faculty of the Bauhaus. His work was exhibited at the "Degenerate Art" exhibition of the Nazis. This monograph shows the development of one of his works, all of which are quite wonderful to see in person, should you get the chance. He is buried in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY.
