Exercises for Cavalry had a very important place in the British Military thinking during the last half of the 18th century. This book is from a series of 'Instructions' that were printed during that period, and cover details from the basic sword stroke while on horseback to the most complicated." - dust jacket. Armorial bookplate upon front free endpaper, otherwise book clean, bright and unmarked with very light wear. Somewhat above-average wear to dust jacket which is now preserved in archival-grade Brodart.; 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall; Rules and Regulations for the Sword Exercise of the Cavalry - Limited Edition Military Series .
