Plain burgundy boards ditto bumped. Text-block slightly tanned only. Illustrated, loose-plastic protected dustjacket has a small chip on rear panel, a jagged puncture on spine, else mild edgewear. An entertaining biography from 'Phanto', Australian cricket legend William Morris 'Bill' Lawry. A left-hand opening batsman, Lawry was variously described as run-hungry, dull, a cricketing scrooge . . . but above all he did not cede his wicket lightly. This is his story.
