Lonette, Reisie. jacket is torn at edges, heavily rubbed, waterstained; boards have some light staining, edge wear; Brother and sister David and Susan have been training their ponies for the Dublin Horse Show. When their parents go away the crotchety old Aunt who is looking after them forbids them to go, so they decide to ignore her and set out for the show on their own, along with their friends Martin and Clare.

First edition. 96pp. Blue cloth-covered boards; gilt titles on spine. 8vo. Text block edges starting to fox. Free endpapers just starting to tan. Small gold-star sticker on front free endpaper. Internally very neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket has very light shelf wear; two 1cm closed tears at top front and one at top rear, 2cm closed tear at spine heel; chipping to edges; not price clipped. Black and white illustrations in text at points, including some chapter headpieces. An adventure story told by Susan about her and her twin David's six-day, ninety mile ride to Dublin and a near-disaster at the Horse Show just when success seemed in sight. Bernagh Brims was only fifteen when she wrote it.
